Well. I spent this week counting jellyfish on a SYKE research trip. And doing a lot of other stufff too, but I was there to count jellyfish for my Extended Essay. And the results? We didn't find any jellyfish! Boo. Now I'll have to write my EE on why I didn't see any. A lot more complicated than my original idea.
But other than my dumb experiment giving unwanted results, the trip was awesome. The weather was great - suhnny and warm all the time, and I wasn't too busy, so I could spend ages on the sundeck. I got a gorgeous tan.
Also, I was dumb enough to say I'd go to the nationals. Dumb me. Well, if the antidoping papers aren't back by wednesday I won't go, since otherwise I'm not allowed to use my asthma medication and I'll suffocate or something. Not fun.
I'm leading an arts camp next week. It'll be totally fun. Also, I'll get paid. Even more fun, if possible.
I bought the most beautiful pair of shoes. I'm totally in love with them. And they're surprisingly easy to walk with, when considering the 8cm heel. And they were on sale too. Could my life possibly get any better?
Actually, in a lot of ways. First of all, I could win the nationals. And get rid of my asthma. And get my CAS program in order. And get a lot more money. And be accepted to Stanford U. And lose weight (screw people who say I'm already thin). And get a new laptop. And... and... a lot of things.
