I love my boots.

Seriously. And for more than one reason, too.

1. They look great. Who wouldn't love such a cute pair of black, kneehigh leather boots?

2. I can wear them with practically anything (jeans, skirt, dress ...)

3. They just got me into a way fun situation. I had broken the zipper on christmas break (trust me to break the zipper just before we get any snow here, and they happen to be my only decent shoes I can wear when there's a lot of snow on the ground. I have other pairs too, but when its more slippery its harder to walk with the 3-inch heels, and I get a lot of snow in my ankle boots if I try to use them with any snow on the ground.)
Back to the fun stuff. Because the zipper broke, I had to take it to the shoemaker guy for a new zipper. I took the boots there on wednesday, and picked them up about an hour ago. The shoewaker himself wasn't there, but there was this seriously hot guy who was studying to become a shoemaker. He was really nice too. (especially when compared to the grumpy at least 60 years old shoemaker who owns the shop). They guy had been on a break and had just come back to work. Lesson of the day: I should break my shoes more often.

Also, I just experienced the 8th wonder of the world. The girl who rejoined our scouts group and used to be a huge brat has changed a lot in almost a year. Right now she's really nice. I just started believing in miracles
